Christmas Fun

Christmas Fun day at becontree club was excellent with 50 students having fun competing in team events with prizes & awards given, An brillant time was had by all and a big thank you to the adult students for their help in making the day a success.

Sponsored Throw-a-thon

On Sunday 3rd August we held a sponsored Throw and a Bric / Brac sale and was a great success due to the support of students and families.

Siobhan Murphy

Siobhan has been training with us since she was 8, She has achieved in obtaining Becontree Club`s first Junior Black belt, She has then gone on to be up graded to Senior Black Belt.

Siobhan has been accepted as one of adults and has won numerous awards as junior and senior.It is an example to all our kids of what they can achieve. Congratulations Siobhan.

Becontree Club has now started a new Grading System with full marking system which incorparates

Exercises, Breakfalls, Attitude and Grading Scores. ( see last newsletter )

SIMON , ROB & BRIAN BLACK BELTS

After a long time of practicing the day arrived and after an hour & a half of throwing and being beaten they passed their belt.
Congratulations to Simon , Rob & Brian who passed their Black belts, which was well deserved after all the effort and time they placed to achieve the grade.
